These past few weeks have been the perfect storm of special activities and extra curricular involvement at my school. There have been countless days where I have been asked to tackle tasks outside the scope of my job description. There have been nights where I have been called upon to pick up extra duties. State testing, AP testing, concerts, prom, assemblies, and registration have all taken place in a four week window. And yet, I feel more alive in my job than ever before. Sure at the end of the day I’m tired, but the next morning I’m recharged and ready to see what amazing things my students will do next.
I believe the best way to have a long and satisfying career in education is to be involved and get excited about what your students are excited about. Today I’d like to share with you something that my students and school community are very excited about, the LipDubV.
